ZSU-23-4 SHILKA Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Gun
- State-of-the-art weapon system
- Advanced mobility
- Enhanced ergonomical characteristics
The ZSU-23-4 Shilka SPAAG upgrade package accounts for both weapon system and tracked chassis. Additionally the vehicle survivability is enhanced by reducing its infrared and optical signatures.
Enhancement of the artillery system combat performance is achieved through:
- conversion of the radar unit to solidstate electronics;
- introduction of digital range finding;
- enhancement of jam-resistance;
- replacement of the calculating device by an all-in-one Digital Computing System (DCS), which is interfaced with power laying actuators via Digital Instrument FollowUp System (DIFS).
Upgrade of the tracked chassis is aimed at:
- enhancing technical capabilities of the chassis systems;
- increasing the speed;
- introducing ergonomical improvements in the drivers compartment;
- enhancing repairability;
- reducing maintenance time.
